Amanuensis to Imaginal Form

Description
In order to have our imaginal intuitions in 'form', an amanuensis, the artist, assists these ever changing imagined images to be fixed, inscribed to matrix...
The scribe toils in his craft, attentive to aesthetic formalities but even more attentive to the pangs of imagination and intuition - both irreconcilable to reason, yet undeniable consequences of mind...
Though it may sound lofty, highbrow, in reality it is merely a way of recognizing that the purposiveness of 'art' has always been present - and need remain so entrenched. Especially that we, today, are more absorbed into your dependence on the systems that are sustaining 'convenience'.
One might question the system but few would wish such convenience to disappear. And as convenient as the craft of visual arts has become, has something special about the purpose of an image been overshadowed?
And might the question be put to both 'imagination' and 'intuition'? Have we cast a shadow, or doubt, over these tools, friends, that never deceive us, and in fact propose the 'true' of our experience? And as a scribe so diligently records, for one who cannot, so too the artist paints image for the announcers: imagination and intuition.
Perhaps that is a role played by the artist; to make visible what otherwise churns in mind - like a cloud, unceasing of change? Something remembered, but mostly ambivalent, especially with the passing of time; something that might have said more, if only it had been 'conveniently' at hand...as an image.

Striking work and prose, Terrance. ‘To make visible what otherwise churns in the mind-‘
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you Josh... These subjects are the essence of what images portray to mind - at least from upstate. -tdp
