There is something very enchanting about this image and how it leads the eye into the distance, The sun in the foreground, the darkness in the more distant water, the closeness of the trees, give a feeling of exploration, something to be discovered.

Thank you James, what you describe is to the point what I felt in this very humble motif; I returned to it a dozen or more times during that year - along with some two hundred other motifs in 2009 and have been working with these images on not less than sixteen books so far.
