Description
Between reality and unreality, much has been pondered - as a state from which all becomes... and subsequently need return.
As often the case, an image also arrives in mind; as metaphor at best; and perhaps that is best, for 'to take distance' from raw truth might actually be prudent - thus some consider images as 'buffers', like their titles and the metaphors that cloak them.
Some suppose a place and time - before all we know - resembling merely a churning of pure potential; and in many ways that was a shared metaphor; and some called that state of things: unus mundus. As a painter in this later time, I associate that state of things to Abstract Expressionism. Had I been of earlier times, I wonder what association would hold my attention?
And the image at hand, for me, has an essence of the idea of unus mundus in that I imagine it to be a ever-churning-glob of ambiguousness pending discernment, of every kind, to surface into being - each taking name, each pending purpose, each marking something transformative in and of itself, yet as well, in sympathy, harmoniously being a singularity of sorts at drift on one universal breeze...
But there we are, caught by the hidden nature of Paradox - for there is no true metaphor without a smidgen of paradox - for to distinguish as such there needs be more than one such breeze.
First to arrive from the pre-existence were the angels, as we call them. Some say they fell to this place, as this place churned out prior to the need of: am idea of them - What do you think of it all?
No matter the truth, these mysteries can fill one's canvas - they do mine and never cease to amaze that they continually reveal more than a time before! And the year was 2005.

Terrance, in reply, my ‘glob’ of pure reverence. To thank you, again , for your Seeing and Knowing, even within this unpretentious ’ necessity’, that Nature gives us, would that we SEE. Thank you, too, b/c, your canvases , symbolic always, awaken, inspire, as does your wonderful erudition, shared so passionately, and in trust!! of we who view, respect, love, your soulSpeak. With you, in Spirit, reverence, am I, your Witness. VIVA VIVAT.
Terrance DePietro replied:
You are too kind VIVA... There is much to be learned from our creative explore; more often at this time people of similar disposition are recognizing each other with the sharing of imagery... Others are taking note; and that opens the door to a widening sensibility for reform... Intuition may yet come into the light for us! Thank you again, - Terrance

Terrance DePietro replied:
Almost a year to the day I wrote that 'reminder'... Could I have yesterday? I'm not certain! These events of seeing things 'clear-in-mind', just happen... they are not expected... and they can never re-appear or re-appreciate the Truth they bring to light - when we give them our time and our faith! Reading it over, tonight, it re-energizes the notions that prompt my activities to explore. And it is 'exploring' that drives the enthusiasm for the layers upon layers of Truth that creative image presents... at least to those who would ascertain for themselves such metaphor... Thank you VIVA for your enthusiasm! - Terrance
