Overture of Optical Opulence

Description
Be it the luminous red of the autumn oak leaves or the patterns created when light reflects from the uplifted branches in a grove of saplings, before a day's end Nature will provide its journeyer with a most profound memento. And in our time, simple tools allow us to capture - even reminisce - the optical delight of experience.
In this case, there are 'layers' of interest that stretch all the way back, even through, the density of the stand of tall trees that melt into a backdrop for the dancing light that flickers, almost ascending, in the mid-ground; and the backdrop is less than static, in that it further recedes through the atmosphere of a forest's humidity, as the sun's warmth lifts the dew high into the air and through the persistence of a winter's sunset.
What more does the viewer receive in suggestion, I might never know; but even with ten years the splendor continues to lift words to my pallet of optical perceptions and memories found in the quiet of Palenville, along the Kaaterskill, in the shadow of the Catskills...
