Title
Paradox of a Forest Birch

Description
A hardy wood, birch finds its way from forest to furnishings often, because it is a lovely 'hard' wood. We even relish its paper-like bark that peels and shed - occasionally in morsels long enough to write on.
Yet as mighty and resistant as it is in life, the birch, when fallen, is consumed by the forest that gave it its strength, faster than a soft pine or spruce. Left, in paradox once more, the fragile bark, proves to be its most enduring feature.
How nature stands our minds on end, is the timeless attach of paradox to these metaphors we find so helpful to think in.
Nearly consumed, the richly colored briquettes become ever so more particular; mixing with other chaff and wonder of time's passage - and we mark our own by these mounds; but only that we recognize it so.
The precious remnants of season's end, soon will stew beneath a most unlikely cauldron's cover. As I am sure the reader sees again, subtle metaphor about to be kindled by yet another dose of paradox, I will retreat; simply regard the composure of image; and see next where mind will be consumed!

You are seeing the world through glasses the rest of us don't have and, as a result, nature and YOU stand my mind on end. Now I will take some more time to digest this amazing image.
