Description
Captured last Summer, or the Summer of '63, there would be no difference; once a youthful mind enters the zone of playfulness, all world and time become nothing of consequence - only the next shell, stone or drop in the bucket matter.
And in the warm Summer of 1963, at a lake, like any other in so many places, attracted the greatest attentions; of three fertile minds, loosened of all else but what their imagined enthusiasm had brewed for each. And I was present; but had no mind to wonder as I do now: where would mind be fifty more years from that quiet instant...how might I have realized such profundity? Especially that I merely months older than the older of the three!
I might be saddened to have passed so quickly from such folly; but then again it, nor I, never lost the flare...only hair.

Thank you and let me say that your own collection is very much accomplished; it was refreshing to view the specific religious motifs and find underlying relationships therein with my own explorations. Thank you for sharing. - tdp

Childhood innocence, wonderful
Terrance DePietro replied:
Innocence is a timeless motif; it arrives in many forms but as expressed by an image of a child, the notion is boundless. Taken circa '62-'63, this newly recovered image was among some of my earliest photos - yet it still has a gleam; I am luck to have recovered it. Thank you L A for your comment. - tdp
