Variants of Obliviousness

Description
Mindless of all else, the innocence of childhood floats us far from our event - to where? - we cannot say; it as well observes but to none other than it can scrape through - why? it does not matter!
Perhaps that is what is misplaced this every morning - it does not matter!
Retrieved with other once lost negatives from the early 1960s, these little vignettes are as informative as any such investigation depicted within themselves. This one seems to be more talkative this morning; and certainly tomorrow as well! 11june19 -tdp
The 22-23 June is the Open Studio in Palenville hope you attend!

Great find, Terrance!
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you Richard. In truth, this image is will over the 50 year mark; perhaps as early as 1962, taken with a borrowed Pentax; and forgotten for nearly as many years - what becomes interesting is finding it once more, exploring it with decades of life at my side and finding more to be said in the circumstance than a young boy's mind could ever have imagined! The 'connectedness' that exists just within a singular mind is Extraordinary! If of course we are aware that it is so. TY again. - tdp

Very nicely captured in black and white.
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you Darrell; I much enjoy your own passion for the shutter arts. Best-of-Life, tdp

One should simply let this image wash over you and enjoy the process.
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you Paul; and of course you are so right. Each viewer brings their own associations. At this time I find it a reminder of childhood and getting lost in playfulness. Who knows where it will take me, come winter... Would you like another pdf? 'Neighborhoods' is the latest metaphor, and it is a small book which debuts at the open-studio next week.
