Description
Essentially an abstraction of an abstraction, existing because our eyes report it so, the plasticity of our imagery might well be corrupting our apparently weakened state of mind.
'What is real?', has become more than a play of mind, it has arrived our worst nightmare. Only a short time ago it would be rare occasion that we would doubt a camera's ability to provide unquestionable truth - or call it reality. But that is not nearly the case in our day. Why did we wish it be so?
But herein (within the question of course) it is not the rain we wished for, only the mud that comes with the desire being questioned.
Our ability to abstract is coming back to haunt us; and I think it is partly due to our lack of attention to the essences that permeate the air when we arrive in Gardens of Possibility - fashioned imagery, in general or in particular.
Like viewing a flower garden for ensembles to gather, we invariably become aware of the scents floating about the realm; yet on encountering a vision of pliable forms (an image) we hardly notice more than what we think we see - let alone smell the fear or taste the sweet emotion the forms stir in our mind!
When we see an image of beauty, do the hairs on our arms rise up? When we see what could be a flower, does our neck stretch forward so to smell its image?
The reflex is leaving us as fast as the multitudes of images are being imposed for our attention. We are hardly capable to avoid imagery today; even when we might find respite our pocket vibrates and wakes us.
What is presented is an abstraction to be sure! But where its reality ends is in reality a fuller actuality, if only that an attitude makes it so! How much more it is, is only to the limit of an intuitive exercise.
And as all exercise strengthens weakened states, so to intuitive training builds, at very least, vibrant imaginations.
And imaginations are real possibilities - whereas 'fantasies' are sadly impossibility.
Call this one a starting point for finding Paradise all over again!

Stunning piece
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you Lisa, As stated, this is an abstraction that is more a play on our cognitive perceptions in search of pleasant creative symmetry...
