Description
2007 was pivotal and necessary, crucial (thus stated in titling as 'Sine Qua Non' - 'an essential condition; a thing that is absolutely necessary'), to realizing any subsequent implications that imagery might add to the ongoing exploration. If the prior period was analogy in terms of 'liminal'; then the subsequent unfolding opened the door of 'notional' [suggestive; in this case: suggestive of a next terrain of 'unfamiliarity'...something original for perception to gather in...].
Of the images that unfolded, this piece examples best the imaginal void-ness necessary to mark a next category arriving.
One might say that the image was 'empty, yet full' all at once: Empty of perceptual distinctions; at the same time, paradoxically, presenting layers upon layers of ambiguous inform waiting to be peeled in mind and distinguished; each as separate consequences, as correspondences and association of what was to arrive but then only implied...

It is then an image that speaks to its viewer...And that is all the more reason for the artist; that a person can find conversation and imply, by way of a 'wordless language'; of course that notion joins my notions about 'empty'...all paradox laced in visual metaphor that is hoped to arrive in mind as 'Feeling'...Thank you Annamaria for your time and perceptions - they are the only true measure, in the folly of creative-image...Gratci!
