Well, Terrance, i came back here today, in a 'state' that drew me back, for calm, for solace, and I found same here in this beautiful haven, so peaceful, rare, natural........Thank you for knowing this, for sharing this, divine sacred place...VIVA
Terrance DePietro replied:
VIVA, I can only hope that you found a moment or so of 'relief' from whatever it is that put you in a 'state'. Personally I know that 'motifs' exist that have forces entwined that act on the nature of a human being. It would surprise me if the Kaaterskill Creek were not such a motif... Simply because so so many individuals have been rejuvenated by its waters, for hundreds of years that we know of... India has its Ganges; upstate New York its Kaaterskill! god bless! - tdp

Wonderful Bridge and history, beautifully captured here, fav, VIVA
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you VIVA. And it was a wonderful bridge; with nearly anyone who walked over it, capable of reminiscing in some way, of its effect on them. And as if it was a precinct, it was as well, to many people, a sacred place; where they could stand over the ever flowing creek, and in its commotion, reconcile, come to terms with, most any infirmity or milady. But that is now history and no bridge will ever swing there again! Pity!
