Seduction In the Golden Hours

Description
When the leaves have fallen, landscape studies for artists are as abundant as any other season ...perhaps even more so because one can see further and enjoy nature in its intimate nakedness.
Such the case is exampled in this early morning capture, where the layers of light and shadow are cast in the tinge of yellow that we refer as the golden hour. Or perhaps the metaphor has further implication, beyond aesthetic concern, corresponding to the procession of life and the seductions that still cling, even in the mature of ones duration...

Love the contrasts of colors, shapes, and light. Along with the metaphorical contrasts of juicy sweet fruit, and moisture loving lichens against Autumn dry grasses. Complex depth of field, with a peak at the sky= a great photographic eye. Congratulations!

VIVA Anderson
So very beautiful, Terrance. And, so very thought provoking, your thoughts.....there is so much 'more' here, for the eyes, the soul, and I shall linger a while, to reflect upon these aspects as relate to myself......your avid viewer. In my 'autumn' of life, looking back brings an astounding 'progression' of golden memories...I will take them with me when the time comes.......................
Terrance DePietro replied:
Interesting VIVA - your words provoke new realizations into my own sphere of association. In your remark you speak of 'golden memories', 'autumn' and even what might be said 'a pageantry'... I was always taken by the beauty depicted in this image - Until now! Perhaps I was lost in the beauty! Because, as you note, there is much to reflect on captured of that 'golden moment' - that lit the tree covered mountain; that early morning in autumn... When the golden hour [in its temporal splendor] drenched even the last apples... made sweet from the cold, yet ever more brilliant that someone could still cherish their thought!... I might go on and on! Inspired by your kind visit! We both may linger to the glories of experiences remembered and we share an enthusiasm to so Continue! xx -tdp

Wow! Not only a stunning image, but a perfect title to go with it. I love your description of enjoying "nature in its intimate nakedness." Bravo!
Terrance DePietro replied:
Thank you Paul - titles (as I was instructed) lend well to actions; as for my metaphor 'you can't take the guy out of the guy' I guess. Thank you much!
