The Kaaterskill in Splendid Disarray

Description
How to suppose a stereotypical rendering of nature's most intimate delights when her circumference forever changes to the maturing eyes that adore her? Is it an act of love or envy that the artist attempts to contain that which is most sacredly ever in motion? Is there boundary to her beauty when the disarray only makes her more sumptuous?
Enticed as such, affectionate, and disposed to taste nature's clarity, I willingly return, upon occasion to the motifs of the Kaaterskill Clove. I might very well travel the corners of the earth, one after another, ravel at the droves and foster opinions. But in doing so would I merely be wasting my experience to the empiric, rather than bring into focus some distillate of understanding. And is that not what is hunted through footsteps and brush stokes alike?
Have you ever traced a line, with brush, or mere eye; that as it caressed the subject, brought chills to your flesh? Have you ever placed your head, back into a pillow, of moss or other, to receive the dew, as it drips from one of nature's splendid disarrays?

Sorry to be tardy VIVA. Been writing too much in the threads I guess. In any event I love your addressing the 'forest floor' as I spent that year engaged to that very necessary marker of nature. Thank you to expand so patiently my own thoughts!!!

Terrance, the intimacy here forbids me to imagine the larger bed among the ever changing detritus of the forest floor, but, I do still try because this has a natural assembly of the whole of the place probably...and affords a minute glimpse, a small treasure of what is, of course, the entire forest, with its hidden gems of moments fleeting. Well seen. The patterns of Nature easily elude we mortals, and this is a lovely episode to come upon, see, value. Kudos, fv......VIVA
