Title
Who to Take Center Stage and When
Artist
Terrance DePietro
Medium
Drawing - Ink
Description
Sorting through the Comstock series of 1987 the date struck me as it is twenty-nine years to the date since its arrive...literally decades in private dialogue, it is first publicly shared on its birthday...A light note to its otherwise cryptic message.
It certainly drifts in and out of scale, as it leaves interpretation open to its multiple possibilities...But there again is our questioning qualifier of living-image: potential; imagination is more than willing to plant its two cents to extend what the mind thinks is 'center stage'!

You do an amazing job transforming the literal world into an abstraction. Wonderful.

Thank you, but the credit must go to the time old process itself; the process that freely composes image when we merely allow it to do so - at least that is how it was explained to me long ago by a painter of the past. I wrote about him in a book titled: The Nature that Likes to Hide (available free on my google-site). Thank you again for the kind comment. - tdp
